The mermaid in the prefects’ bathroom was laughing. Harry was bobbing like a corkin bubbly water next to her rock, while she held his firebolt over his head.
“Come and get it!” she giggled maliciously. “Come on, jump!”
“I can’t,” Harry panted, snatching at the Firebolt, and struggling not to sink. “Give it to me!”
- Harry’s dream before the second task.
He turned back to Hermione, raised the jagged rock and began hacking at her bindings too — At once, several pairs of strong gray hands seized him. Half a dozen mermen were pulling him away from Hermione, shaking their green-haired heads, and laughing.
“You take your own hostage,” one of them said. “Leave the others…”
“No way!” said Harry furiously - but only two large bubbles came out.

Ultimately there’s an echo of what Lily did, quite a conscience echo, right at the start of the story, at the very end of the story. At the start of the story Lily dies to keep her son alive. At the end of the story Harry lies to be pretending to be dead on the ground and it’s a mother who saves him again because she’s trying to get to her own son. That was closing a circle. He was saved by Lily and saved by Narcissa.

Technically he’d have a higher average of kills since he killed more than 100 people and Harry Potter is only one out of hundreds (if not more) that met their ends to Voldemort.
So saying Voldemort killed on average 300 people by not killing Harry his percentage of death accuracy would be more like 99.63%

ok, so as i was talking about earlier, i have to give away at random one of the props from Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone. I’ve had them for 10 years and I think its time for one of them to find a new home.

#this moment #this fucking moment #you can just see his big hesitation because he doesn’t want to join voldemort at all. he is not a bad person and he wants to be on the right side but then again it’s family first. he loves his family more than anything and if his parents tell him to do something he does it. if his mother tells him to come to her he does it. because he trusts them. he would’ve done anything for them. but in this moment you can see that he’s hesitating because being with his family also means throwing away the chance he’s got to make everything right. he does not want to be a death eater. he does not want to support voldemort. he just wants to be with his family. that’s all that matters.
This is why I will love Draco forever. I don’t give a fuck what anyone else thinks or says.
